August 24 Monday First Day of School!!

Book of the Month

The book for the month of August is, If You Take A Mouse To School

This mouse wants to do everything at school! He is never satisfied with what he gets. First, he'll want your lunchbox, then your sandwich! Read to find out what happens and to see what his first day of school is like.

Welcome to Reading students!!

Hello and welcome! I am your Reading teacher Mrs. Ahern. I am going to show you how much fun reading is! This is going to be so much fun and I cannot wait to get started! I have been so busy preparing the classroom for all our fun adventures ahead. We have many stations to discover together! Stations are a learning tool where we learn through self and peer discovery. I am so excited to show you around! On the first day of school, we have a lot to learn together and I will guide you through every step.
On the first day, you will meet new friends or see old friends just like you who are excited to get started. We all get nervous the first day back but we will conquer our fears together because we are a team!

I look forward to meeting you all!

Welcome Back Parents!

Hello Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to Mrs. Ahern's class! I am extremely excited and looking forward to the adventures that lay ahead.
I am originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Florida six years ago. I have been teaching the past six years at public and private schools, in both Elementary and Middle School. I have two degrees from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in Elementary Education and Mentally and Physically Handicapped. I am currently working on my master's degree in Educational Leadership. This is my first year at Imagine Charter and I am eager to get the year started! I know this school year will be fun, educational, and rewarding for us all.
I believe that communication is the key to success. I will be in constant communication with you through notes home, email, and this blog. This will ensure that we are all on the same page with your child's educational needs.
I look forward to meeting and establishing a relationship with you all
